Logan SWCD/Logan Co Farm Bureau Customer Appreciation Day

Customer Appreciation Day, September 30, 2020, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 324 Rd 11, Bellefontaine

Please join us for the Logan Soil and Water Conservation District and Logan County Farm Bureau Customer Appreciation Day,  This will take the place of the Annual Meeting this year as we are trying to promote social distancing in an outdoor setting.  We will offer a lunch on Wednesday, September 30, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 324 Rd 11, Bellefontaine, OH and the opportunity to vote in our election for Logan Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor positions. Candidates running for the Supervisor position(s) include: Frank Phelps, Joe Ramsey, and Jamie Rice.  Please RSVP, if you will be joining us for a lunch of grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, applesauce, dessert and a drink. 

Those attending will be able to participate in the organizations year end celebration by reading our annual report, meeting our cooperator of the year and learning about some of their best management practices, and congratulating our District Administrator and Technician, Steve Searson, on 30 years of service and dedication to our agency.  You can also meet our other staff and pick up information on Logan Soil and Water Conservation District.

Residents or landowners, firms, and corporations that own land or occupy land in Logan County and are 18 years of age and older may vote for the Logan SWCD Supervisor positions.  A non-resident landowner, firm or corporation must provide a notarized affidavit of eligibility, which includes designation of a voting representative, prior to casting a ballot.  Absentee ballots may be obtained by requesting a ballot from the Logan SWCD office, 324 C Rd 11, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.  Absentee ballots will be accepted from August 18th through September 16th.  To vote for the Logan SWCD supervisor candidates, you can also vote at the Logan SWCD office  between September 17, 2020 and September 30, 2020 during regular office business hours.
